Alarm Registration...
Police departments in Dade and Broward counties require
all alarm systems in their jurisdiction to be registered. Each police agency
has their own false alarm ordinance and requirements. Some require annual
registration with a fee, while others do not.
Provided for your convenience is list of some of the police
departments and their requirements. There is also a copy of the alarm
registration for you to
print and submit.

Once you are registered, each year a new registration is mailed to you from the
Miami-Dade False Alarm Enforcement Unit
on your anniversary. If you received zero false alarm in the
prior year, the renewal fee is waived, but you still must reregister.
